Douglas Joshua and Holly Taylor started singing together in 2012 after watching Irish indie film Once, which inspired them to perform a cover of Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová's 'Falling Slowly'. They have continued to write, arrange and perform together with a repertoire of original alternative folk. Their voices "move and swell perfectly in sync" creating a musical atmosphere similar to that of Damien Rice or Angus & Julia Stone.
